Susan Frazier & Adam Bell at Whispering Brook in Rodd Street Broke will be hosting an olive long table luncheon at Whispering Brook on the 26th June 2010.
This was an idea that was sparked from a suggestion by Mike Wilson to do something around the promotion of olives at Whispering Brook to co-incide with good food and wine month in the hunter valley to throw a bit of a spotlight on the hunter olive industry. The idea grew and has culminated in the format shown in the attached invite which has been distributed to our mailing and club member list and has also been listed in save the date web listings with the media.
As the idea evolved, we felt it was a great platform to showcase Whispering Brook but importantly to showcase the Broke Fordwich region for all it has to offer. With this in mind, we have the generous support of some key accommodation venues in Broke catering to upmarket couple's accommodation to accommodate the visiting media we are targeting for the weekend.
We will be sending out our media invites next week along with our new season extra virgin olive oil, shiraz and olives. This will also commence our key media awareness for the luncheon.
We are delighted at the confirmed bookings to date and expect the event to sell out shortly - especially after next week's media campaign.
Would you please let members know about the luncheon and also invite them to extend invitations to their guests. Please contact Susan on 6579 1386 for further details.
Kind regards,
Susan Frazier
